The latest news from FEMA is out as a downloadable PDF file. In brief, as of November 3, FEMA and the Small Business Administration have approved more than $20 million in federal disaster assistance for California survivors. More than 3,500 Californians have contacted FEMA for information or registered for assistance with FEMA and nearly $10 million has been approved. The SBA has approved more than $10.6 million in low-interest disaster loans to businesses, private nonprofit organizations, homeowners and renters. FEMA encourages all who have suffered damages from the wildfires to register for disaster assistance.
